  • Antra pamoka (Lesson 2 - 2023 10 17)

We started the lesson by learning the greetings.
During this lesson, we continued learning the pronouns and added the plural (mes - we, jūs - you, jie/jos - they).

We have also learned how to ask where other people are from and answer the question. We have also studied the grammar associated with it (the form of the noun). Example: Iš kur tu esi? Aš esu iš Lietuvos. (Lietuva - iš Lietuvos).

At the end of the lesson, we learned how to ask which languages people speak and answer the question. Example: Kokiomis kalbomis tu kalbi? Aš kalbu lietuviškai ir angliškai.

Prepare a little presentation about yourself (greeting, your name, nationality, country you are from, languages you speak).

  • Trečia pamoka (Lesson 3 - 2023 10 19)

We started the lesson with homework and your presentations about yourselves.

During the lesson, we covered 3 main topics:
    1) Learning the negative forms of the verbs:
Aš esu - Aš nesu (I am - I am not)
Tu esi - Tu nesi (You are - You are not)
Jis yra - Jis nėra (He is - He isn't)

    2) Learning the -a verbs and their conjugation:
Aš kalbu, tu kalbi, jis/ji kalba
Aš miegu, tu miegi, jis/ji miega

    3) Learning how to ask questions with Ar...?:
Ar tu esi iš Lietuvos? (Are you from Lithuania?)
Taip, aš esu iš Lietuvos (Yes, I am from Lithuania)
Ne, aš nesu iš Lietuvos (No, I am not from Lithuania)

    We practice everything orally.

Create 5 to 7 sentences with the new verbs we learned today (18 slide in the presentation). Please use different forms and pronouns.

    For example:
    Aš bėgu.
    Tu dainuoji.
    Beata verda.
